Daniel put his hand in the photo so you could get an idea of this lizard's size. He's about medium from what we're used to seeing around these parts.
They tend to let you get pretty close! Although you can see he's got his eye on me.

ReplyDeleteAll of those tropical water lilies are exciting to me as well. I have a couple of them that I've tried to over winter but the next year it's just never warm enough for them to really take off again.
Heather, the lizards are fairly docile and used to people. Also, I'm so glad you noticed the water lilies! They are in the photos on purpose; so pretty!
